Dr Desmond J. Tobin is Full Professor of Dermatological Science and Director of The Charles Institute of Dermatology at University College Dublin, Ireland. Over the past 25 years, he has conducted research on the biology of the human hair follicle in health and inflammatory disease, as well as human melanocytes and pigmentation in health and diseases such as melanoma.
